Tom’s raw, imperfect style, influenced by Spanish Costumbrismo, blends history with the present.

Meet Tomás Gutiérrez Ortiz, known as Tometomy, a Spanish muralist shaped by Fine Arts in Valencia. Coming from rural Spain, he later embraced mural painting influenced by the city's vibrant cultural scene. Fascinated by Costumbrismo, he weave tales of La Mancha, blending tradition with modernity. Tom’s intentionally raw, imperfect style invites viewer engagement. He favors acrylic paint, reflective mixtures, and La Mancha blue - rooted in regional architecture, while his art narrates the past in a contemporary language, merging history with the present.
